Plouhinec - Morbihan south  - Pays de Lorient -

Between Pays de Lorient and Pays d'Auray, bordered by the Ria d'Etel and Atlantic Ocean, Plouhinec combines the delight of the sea and countryside. Seaside : 9 km of sandy bathing beaches for the joy  of bathers, in the background bordered by dunes in their natural state interspersed by marshes, a sanctuary for migratory birds and rare plant species. Plouhinec has  one  of  the most beautiful beaches on the Brittany coast  and there are many opportunities for windsurfing, surfing,underwater  fishing, scuba diving, sea and coast fishing . A fine sandy beach (Magouëro) is just 1 km away. There are lots of signed footpaths to follow along the magnificent Etel river (1.5k). Land: The country is rich in its farmland, its maritime pine, its heathland covered with broom, gorse and heather, its fields and walkways, its building heritage - fishermen's, cottages, churches, calvaries and fountains.
