Saint-Cornely was a pope in Rome, where he was pursued by roman soldiers. He walked in front of them accompanied by two oxen that bore his luggage.
Once, in Carnac, when he saw men sowing oats, he asked:
- What you sow?
- Oats, they replied.
- So, said Saint Cornely, you will reap your oats tomorrow.
Indeed, the next day, the oats were ripe and the men returned to reap them.
Whence, the Roman soldiers arrived and they asked the men :
- Have you seen a man come by here with two oxen ?
- Yes, they replied, when we were sowing oats !
- In this case, their leader said: It'sunneccessary to go any further.
Some time later, they turned to stone.
